Recently, a lot of people have been asking me what I think about the newly released WS Factory Nautilus 5712. The factory’s promotional claims make the watch sound incredibly impressive. I finally managed to get one in hand, so today I would like to share my personal opinion.

This golden Patek Philippe Nautilus 5712 was just released, but the factory did not want to give me a sample to review, and I spent a lot of money to buy one for review.
For this new watch from Umi, apart from the added weight, I honestly do not see other highlights.
The case lugs have that “bird-beak” shape, and yes, it has an increased weight, but there is little else that stands out. More importantly, why is the rose gold tone on the case so dark? The rose gold tone on the genuine model has brightness, warmth, and a rich metallic texture. This one looks dull, worn-out, and almost cheap.
The center pinion of hands is also not made with the inward-sloping bevel seen on the genuine watch. When I first saw the promotional photos of Umi, I thought perhaps second-hand authentication knowledge was about to be challenged again. But in the end, it is still just a simple solid pinion.
Personally, I think the dial is not even as good as the earlier SW dial. Their dial looks reddish-brown to the naked eye. Go look at the genuine 5712/1R full gold model: its dial should be more of a yellowish coffee tone, not reddish. This is simply the wrong color tone. Do not bring up supposed “Swiss versions” or production-batch differences. The genuine 5712/1R had a relatively short production period and limited output, and based on current authentication references, there are no meaningful version or batch differences for this model.
The hands are better than PPF’s, at least. They have more thickness and substance. PPF’s hands are so thin that they look like pieces of paper.
As for the movement, I am honestly speechless. At this price level, it still uses a regulated balance? Seriously? You are charging more than 1500 Dollars but still use a non-free-sprung movement. The engraving and finishing on the movement bridges are very average. You can tell that UMI has done secondary engraving and refinishing work, but the final result is still underwhelming. PPF’s current factory finishing is only slightly worse than this. For this price, the level of movement finishing is simply not acceptable.
Overall, at least this watch does not target people with limited budgets. The wealthier customers usually ask for custom dials, hands, and movements fitted into a real 18K gold case. So who exactly is the target buyer for this replica watch with only average finishing?
My advice is not to buy it, whether you have money or not. I would not recommend it at all. It feels like a pure cash grab.

Take the two watches below as an example: one is a Rolex GMT model, while the other is a Rolex Datejust. Surprisingly, the Datejust is priced only around $3 higher than the GMT. In the replica-watch market, a genuinely high-quality Rolex GMT super clone would normally cost around $100 to $200 more than a Datejust because it includes an additional GMT function and is more complicated to produce.
This price comparison alone raises questions about the actual quality level of the watches sold on the website. It suggests that these are unlikely to be true super clone models and may instead be lower-grade replicas.
You can also look at the product description for the Rolex GMT on the website. It lacks detailed specifications and does not clearly state whether the GMT function actually works. Many of the product descriptions across the website appear vague, incomplete, or inaccurate.
The prices may look affordable, but paying $200 for a poorly made watch that could develop problems or stop working after only a short period of time is still not good value.
Conclusion
When searching for replica watches online, you may come across many websites similar to Arwuk that rank highly on Google. A first-page ranking, attractive title, or low price does not automatically mean that a website offers high-quality watches.
Buyers should be cautious of websites that advertise “Swiss” or “Super Clone” quality but provide vague product descriptions, unclear movement information, and pricing that does not match the complexity of the watches being sold. Otherwise, you may simply end up wasting your money.
This Patek Philippe Nautilus is the latest work from ADG factory, different from regular Nautilus 5711, the factory made three changes on this one, the bezel is changed to forged carbon, the dial is skeletonized, the movement features skeleton plates and rotor. ADG has made an ordinary Nautilus 5711 look much bolder and more unique.
The carbon fiber bezel does not look as sharp and angular as the stainless steel bezel. It feels a bit too rounded. However, the carbon fiber texture on the bezel is still quite clear. Like the Nautilus 5711 replicas made by other factories, the lugs on this ADG Factory piece also do not have that beak-like finishing.
The dial is skeletonized, so you can see the movement through the front. This allows you to appreciate the mechanical beauty even without looking through the case back. The movement is a super clone 330 movement, and this is the version where the seconds hand does not stop when you pull out the crown. The hacking-seconds version of the 330 movement is already available in the market now, and both BBF and 3K Nautilus models are using it.
Looking from the case back, there are still quite a few differences between this replica and the genuine watch. On the genuine model, the engraved lettering around the edge of the case back is much deeper, more refined, and clearer. Although the Patek Philippe logo on the rotor of the replica movement is also engraved quite deeply, the rotor color looks more like rose gold, while the other gears in the movement are gold-toned, so the colors are not consistent.
Would any man actually choose a watch with a mother-of-pearl dial like this? It looks so soft and refined that it almost feels more suited to women. However, with its 41mm case size, this model was clearly designed for men.
Among all the Rolex Day-Date models, the only ones that truly appeal to me are the full-gold models. In my opinion, those are the versions that best embody the masculine character of the Day-Date. As for the stainless steel versions, I would rather choose a Rolex Datejust instead.
This Rolex Day-Date replica watch is the newest V2 edition from VS Factory. In my opinion, if you really like this watch, I suggest you wait a bit longer – I think QF factory will release this product soon, and the movement will be available with a free-sprung balance option.
There’s really not much left to introduce about this watch. I’ve already covered several factory versions on my blog before, including QF, Clean, and others. Now that Clean has been taken down, the number of super clone options available on the market has become much smaller. Honestly, going with QF is already enough. Of course, I’m not encouraging anyone to buy replica watches – I’m simply sharing my personal opinion and observations.
QF has also been continuously updating this model and releasing newer versions. They now offer a 4132 super clone movement with a free-sprung balance, which is definitely a major improvement for Rolex models with transparent casebacks. For open-caseback Rolex replicas, having a free-sprung balance makes the movement look much closer to the genuine watch.
It also seems that QF is preparing for an even bigger project – bringing free-sprung balance movements to more of their Rolex lineup. From what I know, many Daytona and Submariner models are already using these upgraded movements. If things continue developing at this pace, I honestly think QF may not be far from being targeted as well.
I just received news that APS was raided. Maybe it’s because their Audemars Piguet replicas had become too close to the genuine pieces.
QF vs CBD
These two factories are not only producing this Le Mans Daytona, but are also major competitors in the Rolex Day-Date market. However, I’ve never really liked the Rolex models made by CBD, especially their Day-Date replicas, because they still have some obvious flaws. I honestly don’t know whether the people online claiming that CBD’s Day-Date is “perfect” simply don’t notice how thick the bracelet is.
Another issue appears on the gold models. The gold plating and the inner material of the bracelet can develop visible cracks. This is mainly because CBD adds special weighting material inside the bracelet to achieve a heavier feel, but the plating layer and the inner material don’t fully bond together.
QF, on the other hand, has done a much better job on this gold Le Mans Daytona. So far, I haven’t noticed the same fine cracking issue between the gold plating and the inner layer of the bracelet.
The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5712 has been one of the best-selling replica watches in recent years. In the world of replica Patek Philippe watches, the Nautilus 5711 and Aquanaut are the two most popular models, followed closely by the 5712. The strap is made from crocodile leather. Originally, the factory only offered it with a calfskin strap, but a crocodile leather strap can now be custom ordered from the market. The black leather strap pairs perfectly with the rose gold case, which forms a high contrast with the rose gold and gives the entire watch a more luxurious and high-end appearance.
